Books.by is becoming BookSpace.com.

We've got news, and I've been itching to tell you.

When we started Books.by, the whole idea fit in a single link: books.by/yourname. One short address where readers could buy a book straight from the person who wrote it. No marketplace in between. No algorithm deciding who gets seen. And of course, no commissions on any of your sales.

It worked. And then you kept asking for more.

You wanted your store to look like your book, so we built themes. You wanted ebooks next to your paperbacks. You wanted to know who was buying, and which ads were actually earning their keep. You wanted discount codes, and your money the next day instead of next quarter. So we built all of it, one request at a time.

Somewhere along the line, a simple link turned into a platform. A real one. Like Shopify, but built for authors, and powered by a global print-on-demand network. People would hear Books.by and think we're a link shortener. But you've shaped us into the leading all-in-one commerce platform for books.

So today, we're becoming BookSpace.com.

Now, the part I care about most: your books.by link isn't going anywhere. Every link you've printed on a bookmark, put in your bio, or said out loud on a podcast keeps working. From here on it's your short, friendly sharing link. The quick one that takes readers straight to your store.

Nothing else about your account changes. Same login. Same books, prices and royalties. Same people answering your emails. There's nothing you need to do.

Now for the fun part. A new name felt like the right moment to raise the bar, so we did.
